Kim Ki Jung / Kim Sa Rang take the men’s doubles title at the Badminton Asia Championships 2012
The young South Korean pairing of Kim Ki Jung / Kim Sa Rang defeated Japan’s Endo Hiroyuki / Kenichi Hayakawa 21:12, 21:16 to take the men’s doubles title at the Badminton Asia Championships 2012.
The pair were unseeded but knocked out a series of seeded pairs from the last 16 stage, knocking out third seeds, Japan’s renowned pair Shoji Sato / Naoki Kawamae, eighth seeds Liu Xiao Long / Qiu Zi Han, championship top seed and local favorites Chai Biao / Guo Zhen Dong and championship sixth seeds Endo Hiroyuki / Kenichi Hayakawa of Japan in succession.
