Nguyen Tien Minh and Tai Tzu Ying Triumph at the 2012 Taipei Open



Chinese Taipei’s 18 year old Tai Tzu Ying showed great resilience under pressure and actually saved three match points in the deciding game to see off her opponent  21:19, 20:22, 22:20 in a close-fought match, taking the women’s singles title at the Taipei Open. Vietnamese star Nguyen Tien Minh beat Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien Chen to take the men’s single title.





In the men’s singles final Nguyen Tien Minh put in a first-class performance against Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien Chen. Nguyen Tien Minh successfully eliminated the threat from Chou’s outstanding ability to attack from the rear of the court, taking the match 21:11, 21:17 ....<FULL ARTICLE>
