Men’s Korean team celebrated their third Asian Games triumph (1986, 2002, 2014). Son Wan Ho robbed the crucial first point of World Champion Chen Long, and Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong followed up for a second win, before veteran and two-time Olympic semifinalist Lee Hyun Il rose to the occasion and enabled the host team to claim the final victory, beating China’s third singles Gao Huan.
Son Wan Ho defeated Chen Long to take the first singles point for Korea in the Team final.
