Lee Yong Dae had a bronze medal last time around at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games with Jung Jae Sung.

Player to beat

Record to be made
Zhao Yunlei, having achieved the “golden double” in the 2012 Olympic Games and the recent 2014 World Championships, will again represent China to play in the mixed doubles with Zhang Nan, and in the women’s doubles with Tian Qing to try to complete another clean sweep.
Match not to miss
Lee Sheng Mu and Tsai Chia Hsin will hope to bring Taiwan another medal after a bronze un the Team Competition. The World No.6 is the fifth seed of the event but set to bump into Malaysia’s Superseries winners Tan Wee Kiong and Goh V Shem in the opener, ranked respectively as high as No.7 and No.17 in the world rankings with their own partners.
